Dashboard
The software's homepage acts as a quick reference dashboard. This is where the most recently added Companies can be found, Domain Names and Hosting Accounts that are due for renewal or have expired can be found, these are quick links through to the relevent areas of the software for further information, helping the user to keep up to date with renewals.
Companies
By selecting the 'companies' tab in the menu, the user is taken through to the Companies dashboard, this is where all the companies in the system are listed. From here the user can either select a company from the list and click to go through to see, or edit the company's details or add a new company by clicking the green button in the sub-menu.
Company Types
By clicking the 'Companies' tab the user can go through to the 'company types' screen. This is where the user can add, edit or delete company types, a company type can be anything the user chooses - standard ones are Supplier, Client etc.
Company Overview
The companies overview screen is the backbone of the system and can be found by selecting a company from the 'Companies' screen. Once a company has been selected the user can view all the company's details and any hosting accounts or domain names that have been 'attached' to the company. The user can also add new hosting or domain names from this screen, automatically linking them to the company's details. The user can also view the expiry details of any hosting or domains that belong to the company from the this screen.
Domain Names
Selecting 'Domain Names' from the main menu takes the user through to the domains dashboard, this is where all the domain names in the system are listed and can be easily filtered by name or expiry period. Once a domain name has been selected the user is taken through to that domain names details which can then be edited or attached to a different company. The user can also choose to add a new domain name from the submenu. When a domain name has been added or edited, if a username and password has been included, those details will be encrypted and stored in the database.
Hosting Accounts
Selecting 'Hosting Accounts' from the main menu takes the user through to the hosting dashboard, this is where all the hosting accounts in the system are listed and can be easily filtered by name or expiry period. Once a hosting account has been selected the user is taken through to that hosting accounts details which can then be edited or attached to a different company. The user can also choose to add a new hosting account from the submenu. When a hosting account has been added, if a username and password has been included, those details will be encrypted and stored in the database.
